These are done either in concert with an industry event as part of their educational offering or as a standalone webcast sponsored and supported by firms that work in that field. A typical event will be for a specific market segment such as Security, RFID, ERP, etc., and will include brief presentations by an industry luminary, and supporting panels/presentation on IPOs, Investment, and M&A, by both specialists, as well as CEOs and CFOs from the companies making deal headlines in that market.

These webcasts will run 60-90 minutes, are worldwide in scope, and are very specific to one distinct market segment. The sponsors, faculty, and speakers are therefore highly specialized in these markets, thus each event will have a different set of presenters with specific expertise and experience.
